SKOKIE, Ill.--The proceedings from the 47th Annual IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference are now available on a searchable CD-ROM. The disc includes 30 separate technical papers representing state-of-the article on cement manufacturing in the areas of general practices, automation, power generation, distribution and related products, drive and related products, and environmental, maintenance and safety.

Highlights of the six-day conference, held May 15-20, include presentations on sustainability and cement manufacturing, and the use of acoustic temperature measurements in the cement manufacturing pyroprocess.
