On the heels of recognizing outstanding industry promoters with the annual Promotion Progress Awards, the Portland Cement Association and fellow members of the North American Concrete Alliance are pleased to announce the return of the Professional Promoters Workshop. The workshop, the only national forum for local concrete promoters, will take place June 9-10, 2004, in Skokie, Ill.

The workshop will offer networking opportunities, support programs, and best practice discussions on the local concrete promotion. All promoters and marketing personal from local, state and regional associations/councils are encouraged to attend as well as cement and concrete industry personal with an interest in promotional activity.

Throughout the 1990s, the workshop was a must-attend event for concrete promoters. Through the urging of regional cement promotion groups and various promotional partners, PCA will spearhead the revived workshop with co-sponsors from the North American Concrete Alliance.
