Hot-Weather
Concreting
This
webinar will provide an introduction to the effects of hot temperature
on the properties of concrete and the general requirements for producing
concrete in hot weather.
At the end of this
course, participants will have the ability to:
| • Properly
define the criteria for hot weather concreting situations |
| • Describe
the primary effects hot temperatures have on fresh and hardened concrete
properties. |
| • Describe
the general requirements for concrete production and placement in
hot weather, including precautions for selecting materials, equipment
and handling, and curing and protection methods. |
| • List
the applicable standards and specifications associated with hot weather
concreting |

the webinar, registered participants will be emailed a copy of the presentation
slides, a certificate for 0.1 CEU credit, and a PDF of “Hot-Weather
Concreting”, Chapter 13 of PCA’s Design and Control of
