Quarry to Clinker Webinar Series: 27 Kiln Conditions

Following a review of the fundamental functions of combustion, heat reactions, and thermal efficiency in cement kilns, this webinar will examine the kiln conditions indicated by three basic variables: burning zone temperature, back-end temperature, and percentage of oxygen in the exit gas. 27 kiln conditions are derived from the understanding that each of these variables can be within the allowable range, too low, or too high. Application of control procedures will be reviewed for each of the 27 kiln conditions.
