National Cement has cement manufacturing operations in Alabama and California, distribution terminals in the southeast, and more than sixty ready mix batch plants across California, Georgia, and Alabama.

Its cement operations in Ragland, Alabama have been supplying cement to support construction projects in the region for more than 100 years. It ships via truck and rail to a diverse customer base across Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida, supported by distribution facilities in Georgia and South Carolina.

Its California plant was originally built in 1966 and acquired in 1987. The plant was since modernized to eliminate land filling cement kiln dust (CKD) waste, greatly reduce energy consumption and air emissions, and increase capacity.

National Cement’s other businesses include Hodgson Concrete, Kirkpatrick Concrete, Walker Concrete, and Walker Construction Products in the Southeast, and, National Ready Mixed Concrete, Builders Concrete, Viking Ready Mix, and Golden Empire Concrete in Southern California.
