For the Media
Who We Are
PCA is the go-to information resource for national and international media reporting on the U.S. cement industry. The association’s senior leadership consists of industry-insiders who are well-versed in the history, economics, advocacy efforts and sustainability initiatives of America’s cement manufacturers. When interviewing PCA senior leadership, journalists can rest assured they are quoting spokespeople whose thoughts and opinions reflect those of today’s cement industry.
Our media staff also facilitates interviews with leadership of PCA member companies.
What We Do
PCA’s sustainability team specializes in the research, technology, and sustainability of the safe, efficient, and economical applications of cement-based products. This group provides foundational resources such as PCA’s Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures, surveys and reports on cutting-edge technologies and applications like additive manufacturing and low-carbon cement and concrete solutions. The team also helps facilitate the adoption of standards and specifications to meet today’s needs and the demands of tomorrow.
PCA’s government affairs team stays in-the-know about all current policies and industry standards coming from the decision-makers in Washington, D.C. that directly and indirectly affect the U.S. cement industry. They are familiar faces on Capitol Hill, meeting regularly with congressional members and staff as well as with staff from federal agencies- including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy—to advocate on behalf of the industry for fair and achievable regulations.
PCA’s Market Intelligence transforms economic data into information, and information into insights and guidance. To this end, the team of experts provides market forecasts, industry research and advocacy support.
